CONTRACTOR ASSISTANCE SEMINAR

Okay, you’ve got a contractor’s license... Maybe you’ve been in business for awhile. But public works is different. There are all kinds of extra requirements that a contractor wanting to work on a public works project must meet. And the laws are constantly changing. If you want to play the game, you have to know the rules.

This free virtual class – taught by a professional with years of experience in the field – will teach you what you need to know to stay in compliance with City, state and federal requirements on public works projects. The class begins with the basics of prevailing wage, certified payrolls and apprenticeship, and goes far beyond. It provides in-depth instruction for the contractor interested in working in public works construction.

Each class is held every 2nd Wednesday of the month and runs approximately 3 hours from 10am to 1pm.  The class is free, but please call (213) 847-2599 or email vik.chatterjee@lacity.org for a reservation.
